Why this site exists
A high bill is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Electricity, gas, water, sewer, service days, prices and fixed fees can move independently. Our tools separate those variables so a reader can test whether an explanation is large enough to fit the change.
What makes it different
We cover the combined household utility picture instead of treating electricity as the only bill. Formulas are shown, source dates are visible, state averages are identified as references, and local rates remain editable.
How it is funded
The site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising helps fund hosting, source review and new calculators. Ads do not influence calculator results or editorial conclusions.
